Metal Detectors
• We have 7 models of White's metal detectors to choose from. Detectors start out at $179.95 for those beginners and priced up to $1500.00 for those of you who want the top-of-the-line performance and features. Specialty detectors are also available such as underwater detectors, buried utility detectors, gold detecting detectors, walk-thru detectors and body search detectors. Any non-stock detector can be ordered upon request with a 24 to 48 hour receive time.

We want our customers to know that they do not have to spend several hundreds of dollars to have a good/reliable metal detector. White's Electronics does not make or market "toy" metal detectors, which is why you will not find them in big retail stores. Their least expensive machine has a true working discriminator, target I.D. system and several other features that allow you to hunt with minimum interference from junk or trash items.On average, most detectors will find coin sized targets about 6 to 8 inches down and larger objects as much as 12 to 15 inches down and even deeper with the more expensive models. Specialty detectors can find large targets as much as 20 feet in the ground.

For our customer who wish to hunt in Mexico, White's has a model named Sierra Madre that will find caches up to 5 feet in the ground with the opitonal 15" Blue Max coil.

HINT: To maximize your depth and sensitivity, hunt after a nice soaking rain. The more moist the soil is, the better the depth and sensitivity. Your depth can increase by several inches with moist soil. Dry soil gives you minimum depth.

PRIZM 5G: $449.95 - Ground balance feature for mineralized soil.

PRIZM 6T: $549.95 - VDI, ground balance & beach features.         

M6: $599.95 - Great for primarily hunting jewelry and coins.                

MXT-PRO: $769.95 - A favorite for relic hunting.

DFX-PRO: $929.95 - Menu driven, program presets, dual frequency.

All of the above detectors have a target i.d. system that allows you to identify the popular small good and bad targets that are in the ground (nails, foil, bottle caps, penney, nickle, dime, quarters, rings, etc.). No more having to spend hundreds of dollars to get this feature. All models can be submerged in water upto the rod connecting joint. There is a full 2 year year parts and labor warranty on all White's metal detectors. We provide one on one instructions when requested and available.

UPCOMING DETECTING CLASS: There will be a biginners metal detecting class held sometime this spring. This class will be for beginners who may or may not currently own a detector but want more information about features and more importantly, how to properly hunt, dig and use your detector. This class will be held on a Saturday and a date will be set later. If you are interested in attending this class, please call or email early. There is no cost to attend.
